I am on the Ferry from Malta to the smaller island, Gozo. The origin of the word Gozo is Greek and is derived from Gaudos meaning, “Enjoy Life.”I have barely arrived on my parent’s homeland before I am already enjoying the lifestyle. Here, locals are laid back, enjoy frequent siestas, weekly fiestas and spend summers at the beach.
I plan to immerse myself in this culture over the next few weeks.
